Since 1998 Mexico has periodically produced it's own CD singles, although before this they did import CD singles (and some albums) from UK, Canada or USA.
Mexican jewel cased CD singles generally include a hologram sticker on the front or back of the casing and usually, initially, come sealed. They are also pressed and in fairly small numbers so are quite hard to find after their initial release. All CD singles are manufactured and distributed officially for Warner Music Mexico.
Frozen, the first and rarest Mexican commercially released Mexican CD single pressing came with fully picture disc graphics, similar to the Australian CD single released at the same time. This has the regular five versions of Frozen and jewel casing. Has 'SN43990 2' catalogue number and Mexican manufacture reference within the disc and sleeve design. This presing also comes with hologram, which is actually the same as those used in Brazil!?. My copy was factory sealed!
I have also discovered another 'Frozen' CD single; this one is a card sleeve pressing!! It includes just two tracks: Frozen Lp Version 6:12 and Shanti/Ashtangi Lp Version 4:29. The copy I found is sealed and includes a hologram on the front over and full Warner Music Mexico authenticity (SN 172449). I have only seen one copy of this so far.

Another equally interesting Mexican CD was the fantastic Power Of Goodbye with white disc graphics. This has the regular versions of Power Of Goodbye and jewel picture casing and Mexican manufacture reference within the disc and sleeve design. This presing also comes with hologram, which is actually the same as those used in Brazil?.
More recently saw the release in Mexico, yet not USA, of Beautiful Stranger and American Pie. Beautiful Stranger came in album style large casing with full picture sleeve insert and floral disc graphic. American Pie came with regular picture sleeve and album style casing. These are now both quite scarce because both releases not appear in USA.
What It Feels Like For A Girl was the latest commercially released Mexican CD single, which came in jewel casing!

Other CD singles include 'Drowned World' in jewel casing and regular picture sleeve, 'Nothing Really Matters' also in jewel casing and picture sleeve and the rarer 'Ray Of Light'. All these pressings are now scarce so do expect to pay anything from £10 upwards to secure a mint and sealed copy!

Feburary/March 2000 saw the release of the second Madonna-only Mexican promo CD single, American Pie. This came in thick 'album style' casing like those issued in the States and does look similar to the American promo.
The rarest and first ever Madonna-only promo issued in Mexico was was 'Veras', or 'You'll See' to the English speakers. This comes with full p/s and is very hard to acquire!
What It Feels Like For A Girl became the third Madonna-only Mexican promo CD single. This CD has the track credited as 'Above & Beyond Radio Mix' but actually plays 'Lo Que Sienta - Spanish Version'. It also has totally cool card picture sleeve with the scarce 'hat' back sleeve design and brown coloured disc. It's catalogue number is 'PCD1396'. These have 'CD PROMOCIONAL PROHIBIDA SU VENTA' (meaning: promotional only not for sale) enscribed on the sleeve and the disc includes the promo catalogue number, authenticity, etc.. Although these are not sealed they do come initially in a thin poly bag. Bigger Disc
The latest promotioanl Madonna CD single was issued to promote the release of the 2001/2002 GHV2 album. This promo pressing came in jewel casing, many of which were factory sealed. This pressing came with totally unique picture insert sleeve which made it a very well sort-after pressing!!. It has two Thunderpuss mixes: Thunderpuss GHV2 Megamix (4:17) and Thunderpuss GHV2 Megamix Short Edit (3:31). Also has traditional 'PCD1456' catalogue number and superb white disc! Bigger Disc
There are also a small number of various artist promotional CD singles that have included Madonna. These are mega rare and pressed in very small numbers so will take some searching!. All come in some kind of title insert and possibly in jewel casing and seem to have been given very interesting titles:
