This is the ULTRA rare OFFICIAL 12" acetate for the "Deep Dish" Remixes of Madonna's Music Single. There were only 10 of these ACETATES made by the company "Heathmans Mastering" and it is almost unheard of for one to come onto the market. The 12", dated 1st August 2000, contains 5 versions of Music remixed by Deep Dish. The owner also mentioned that some of the Deep Dish Remixes are not available on any other format, making this record an extremely rare and collectable item. (FOUND AT www.madonnastore.com)

I actually had a similar 'Heathmans' pressing for 'Don't Tell Me' which was actually the second Don't Tell Me 12" acetate I discovered. It was issued for Warners on 20th december 2000 and was apparently one of five manufactured in London, UK. Comes with Timo Maas Mix, Victor Calderone Sensory Mix and Thunderpuss 2001 Hands In The Air Anthem. BIGGER IMAGE. The other 12" acetate I found was also one of about five made. It came with following three mixes of DTM: Vission Remix 7:55, Thunderpuss Club Mix 7:54 and I think Tracy Young Club Mix. I hope I'm not the bearer of bad news for anyone but I'm pretty certain that the pressings pictured and currently selling on auction sites and other Madonna sites are not official but bootlegs.

One pressing is a supposed Hong Kong CD album with slip case, another is a similar edition but from Taiwan yet has obviously been made by the same company. The final one is a double CD album featuring Music and GHV2 albums!! None of the Taiwan pressings ahve been released officially in taiwan for sure and the Honk Kong CD album is always same as the Euro edition!!

There has been three rather cool and certainly collectable American promo items titled "GHV2 Remixed The Best Of 1991 - 2001". There is a triple pack promo 12" 'PRO-A-100781' with totally cool coloured labels promo labels. To accompany this pressing is a double CD promo with amazing picture disc graphics. The CD's come in picture insert sleeve and 'PRO-CD-1007810' catalogue number. Finally there is a CDR promo pressings in existance with tiled promotional inserts and printed disc. All three pressings feature 11 Madonna club anthems from Erotica to Don't Tell Me, plus the all new, "That Kid Chris Caligua 2001 Mix" of What It Feels Like For A Girl (9:51).

The USA has also just produced two interesting advance promo 12" pressings. Both come in plain sleeves with titled label design. The first has the following two mixes: Tracy Young's Shake & Stir Club Mix and Johnny Rocks' & Mac Quayle's Club Mix. Has 'PRO-A-100790-A' catalogue number (pictured right). The "Johnny Rocks' & Mac Quayle's Club Mix" is a rare remix and has yet to have been released commercially anywhere, making these pressing very sought after!!

The other pressing is a double A-side featuring the Tracy Young's Shake and Stir Club Mix (11:53). Also has white plain sleeve with titled label design.

There is also now a mega rare American MADONNA "GHV2" Johnny Rocks/Mac Quayle Remixes CDR In-House promo pressing. This has traditional 'In-House' card sleeve insert with perferated edges and limited information including track titles, times, etc. The disc is white with basic information. Just thought I'd finally add images of the two more UK promo CDRs issued for What It Feels Like For A Girl. There were two 1 mix CDRs plus two more pressed here in UK, an 8 mix version and 3 mix version.

The 8 mix pressing comes with titled white plain perferated sleeve in poly slip case and printed disc. Has the following mixes: Paul Oakenfold Saturday Night Mix 5:22, Perfecto Mix 7:18, Tracey Young Cool Out Mix 4:45, Richard Vission Velvet Masta 8:07, Velvet Masta Edit 3:39, Above & Beyond Club Mix 7:25, Radio Edit 4:02 and Calderone & Quayle Dark Side Mix 6:42. I previously mentioned and showed the UK 1 track Thunderpuss Megamix CDR with 5:52 mix. BIGGER FRONT. I have also now seen two similar two mix Thunderpuss Megamix promo CDRs. These are once again UK/Euro pressings with perferated white titled insert sleeves and titled CDR disc. Both have the same two Thunderpuss megamixes: Long Edit 4:17 and Short Edit 3:31. The main difference is the track title on the sleeve. One has "Thunderpuss GHV2 Megamix Edits" on a single line, the other has the title split across two lines! Likewise the first has a single WEA logo on the sleeve and the second with split titles has additonal Maverick logo; this pressing also has both logos on the disc where as the first has titles only. Well, there is a UK promo-only 2.5" x 1.5" self adhesive body tattoo of the cool black & white "Madonna GHV2" logo! These are fairly scarce! Likewise there is an equally cool GHV2 promo-only white T-Shirt made of 100% cotton. It's one of those 'skinny-fit' "babe" t-shirt with printed colour "GHV2" logo across the chest. BIGGER FRONT

There is a UK/German (I think?) promo only video in GHV2 picture box. The audio element is the 'Dan-O-Rama mix' of music whilst the visual element is a montage of video clips from Material Girl through to What It Feels Like For A Girl, superbly edited together. The beautiful sleeve features images from the latter half of Madonna's career. These are scarce BUT I HOPE TO GET SOME SOON!.

I have also seen a selection of rather scarce promo posters issued to promote the album here in UK. These feature a montage of Madonna shots with one of the four huge white characters from GHV2!

Probably the rarest Spanish promo item from GHV2 is this amazing promo video with 'Thunderpus GHV2 Megamix'. It's in PAL system format like those here in UK. This is a totally official promo video issued by Warner Music Spain. The picture box graphics are in Spanish. BIGGER FRONT | BIGGER BACK
