Sun gossip master, Dominic Mohan mentioned today in The Sun newspaper (April 12th 2001) that Madonna will do seven gigs in UK!! He is usually correct funilly enough! She is set to play six nights in the Earls Court Arena, in London from July 6th, and also a seventh appearance at the Party In The Park summer concert in Hyde Park London (July 8th). Tickets will be available and I will try and grab spare tickets to trade for European gis as I want to travel to get to as many concerts in Europe as possibe.

WIFLFAG will released in Thailand on 10th or 17th April (pushed back from 27th March) and tracklists not confirm til' CD release. There is also going to be a Hong Kong CD single in jewel casing, which wil appear about same time as Thailand one. The HK CD single has 7 mixes: Radio Edit 4.00, Paul Oakenfold Saturday Night Mix 5.52, Tracy Young Cool Out Mix 4.45, Richard Vission Velvet Masta 8.08, Paul Oakenfold Perfecto Mix 7.18, Calderone & Quayle Dark Side Mix 13.25 and Above & Beyond Club Mix 7.27. The cover on the far right is the latest Aussy cover with Madonna on it! This the second Cosmo in the past 7 months with the last being the September edition. The white cover being Lechebnik, which is a March 2001 edition and called Lechebnik, and the other is a totally cool, Teach Yourself English magazine, so it totally written in English, but is Bulgarian.

This is a typicle Ebay item, and one of many such un - OFFICIAL items selling to collectors. I can't say for sure about it's authenticity but I would expect it's nothing more than a gimmick, looks nice though!! Funnily enough, if you look at the disc, you'll see the relfection of a guy taking the picture, and is he NUDE??? Thanks to Canada Rob for bringing this to my attention! hehehehehe BIGGER IMAGE

Cheers to Gautham Dhawan, London geezer and Madonna collector for this scan of another CDR promo issued here in UK. This is the fourth such CDR issued in this way, (plus the p/s DTM one making five). Not quite as exciting as the Don't Tell Me edition but is certainly gonna move some heads! Funnily enough the CD once again did not come with a p/s and infact had a photocopied picture sleeve! I have just been sent this great scan of a brand new UK/GERMAN promo CDR of What It Feels Like For A Girl (cheers mate for the scan). This is of same design as those issued here in UK for Don't Tell Me. This pressing is different in that it has a promotional sticker on the sleeve, denoting release date, etc. The release date is possibly the French date (9th April) though as I think the German release is on 19th April, 9 days later, with the UK a week later on 26th April.

This CDR has a Radio Edit 4'02 and the usual Warners and Maverick logos and plain titled disc. BIGGER IMAGE

Ive just received this news from Dimi in Germany, from a WEA source. Germany will se a release on April 19th. (The French release dates may be as early as the 9th?) There is going to be 2 vinyl 12" pressings (first: 9362637-0) and a Maxi CD (9362-42636-2).

The UK is set to have a cassingle (543916752-4), 2 track CD single (9362-16752, but this will prob be the German card sleeve issue which wont be released here), 3 track CD1 single (936242364-2) and CD2 single (936242635-2). I would also expect a 12" vinyl as well (coming 26th April).

The following remixers are associated with WIFLFAG: Calderone, Tracy Young, R:Vission, Oakenfold (a UK legend!!) and Above & Beyond.

The video is now being shown although there are rumours of it being banned here in UK!!!

The Thailand CD single is now available. It has seven mixes and comes in thin jewel casing! The CD has the following mixes: 1. Radio Edit (4'00) 2. Paul Okenfold Saturday Night Mix (5'52) 3. Tracy Young Cool Out Mix (4'45) 4. Richard Vission Velvet Masta (8'08) 5. Paul Okenfold Perfecto Mix (7'18) 6. Calderone & Quayle Dark Side Mix (13'25) 7. Above & Beyond Club Mix (7'25). I guess that Madonna wearing a Britney Spears ripped T shirt was a small statement initially, but within weeks, many celebs could be seen wearing other celebrities' faces on their clothing.

Since the Madonna gig in NY and London a number of World clothing manufactures have adopted the celeb T shirt idea and this has come to a head with 'Madonna' T shirts being sold in UK clothing stores. These clothing stores include New Look who have a number of Ts featuring a "Madonna" title and various logos including a hat from Music.

Dolce & Gabbana have paid tribute to the whole Madonna 'thing' by featuring Madonna album covers on their Spring/Summer collection of diamond-encrusted T shirts!!.

I will try and get hold of all the G&B Madonna range and feature it here next week. Ill also include shots of the Madonna Ts from the UK New Look stores.

For a great article on the recent Madonna clothing fad, grab a copy of the UK "Star", The Celebrity Magazine. (Not the newspaper!). The March 14th edition includes a five page article all about Madonna! I have copies if you need any, but be quick as these will leave the stores soon. (£3, $5)

There have been many rumours of Madonna auditioning dancers for 'MUSIC' tour! This looks certain now and the actual concert appears to be more of a circus than a concert though!!

The concert will include dancers and entertainers with special talent, including belly dancers, contortionists, line dancers and flamenco dancers, according to the UK's Heat magazine, who have featured Madonna across two pages in their News pages (24th - 30th March edition).

There is still no news on exactly when Madonna will tour but it looks certain now for this summer.

Fellow collector of Madonna, Alex Gonnord has just sent me scans of a totally cool and RARE Music remixes CDR from here in the UK. Two of these CDRs appeared for Don't Tell Me, a five mix one and a seven mix one, and this is the first Music one. There were selection of Music CDRs pressed last year (2000) but none were of same design as this double CDR. (See Ultiog Of Music for complete listing and scans)

This double pack CDR has the following mixes and is certainly gonna be hard to acquire:
CDR 1, (7 mixes): GA 12 5'30, GA BEATS 4'50, GA CLUB 9'29, GA EDIT 3'38, MAIN 12" 8'50, MAIN 7" 3'59 and V+7 4'04.
CDR 2, (9 mixes): MUSIC REMIX (ORIGINAL SESSION) 11'21, MUSIC RADIO EDIT (ORIGINAL SESSION) 4'15, MUSIC US EDIT PASS 1 (NEW SESSION) 4'28, MUSIC US EDIT PASS 2 (NEW SESSION) 4'29, MUSIC UK EDIT (NEW SESSION) 3'59, CLUB 13'16, RADIO 3'48, CALDERONE ANTHEN 11'55 and CALDERONE EDIT 4'25.
