Well, what strange is that all USA copies of the LTD CD album do appear to have USA manufactured packaging, shown by the USA track listing found on it's inner insert sleeve, yet, the disc itself is made in Europe and carries Euroepean track listing, as does the outer sticker on the back of packaging on sealed copies. Australia has just produced a totaly cool LTD CD album with 'American Pie' and 'Cyber-rage' additional tracks. The album is 13 tracks in total and comes with cool pink sticker on it's casing. (See Latest Items for this item for sale)

A far rarer item I've seen (and thanks to Rennie, Australia's No1 collector, for the shot) is this totally cool Australian promotional cube. Its amaizing and has cool shots of the Music album all over it! BIGGER IMAGE

There are two different picture discs, one is manufactured for the UK and the other is for Germany an drest of Europe. The German sold pressings have a thicker black rim around the picture disc edge, with some whire spacing also. The picture may also be clearer?. The Catalogue number scratched into the inner part of the disc is: 'AE 24265/A (A side) and 'AE 24266/A' (B side). The UK pressing has a thin black rim and no white spacing at all. The disc scratching has: 'W537.TX.1.A and W537.TX.1.B. These also have 'SFV' scratched into both side.

Well just about every country seesm to have published a magazine with Madonna on it's cover. recent beauties include Shangay from Spain, as well as about two others from Spain, info coming soon! Germany has just published Amica October cover, which are always well sought after (coming to the site soon). Holland has just produced FREE magazine which is a record store in the Netherlands. Bulgaria has just produced their Paralelli magazine with Madonna cover, another well sought after cover (coming to the site soon). Czecoslovakia has just produced a new cover also, this is called Reflex. Switzerland has also contributed two covers: TV8 and cooperation, both of which are coming to this site soon!! There is also a Japanese freebie mag issued in HMV record store. USA have produced two covers, Rolling Stone and Billboard, both of which are not yet available here in UK but should be here next week. Feel free to reserve in advance any mag coming soon!!

Well I've just had confirmed by those that know, the fact that the infamous pink HATS are official Warner's products and are actually costing Warners a staggering £45 each to manufacture. Likewise the sunglasses are also officialbut are very scarce as they are also costly so not many have been manufactured by Warners.

Two recent Japanese rarities:
Two Japanese CD promos have just surfaced, the first is for American Pie and is a jewel cased CD promo with promo insert sleeve.
The latest is a promo CD with beautiful custom pink sleeve. This contains mixes of Music and is selling for £200 on Esprit! This is certainly rare!

Another totally cool item I just spotted on the Internet is a beautiful Maverick promotional handbook, apparently handed to staff, in I think 1998. Its a SEX book type creation but looks like it's actually a diary/note book. The copy featured here is actually signed by Madonna herself! Australia has just published their Cosmo magazine with Madonna cover... and I just recieved an interesting email which I just had to show everyone:
" WEll just this March, Australian "Cosmopolitan" magazine decided to have this huge feature inside it's cover with Madonna MAX FACTOR, and they also included that gorgeous MAX FACTOR book mark..... The only problem was that Gweneth Paltrow (so over her face) graced the cover.... And as you probably expected, I was fumming with smoke from both my ears and my ass that MAddy didn't get the cover....
So what did I do.. I caled the editor up, spoke to the bitch on the phone, reiforced how pissed off I was that MAddy didn't grace the cover, and how we're soooo over Gweneth gracing the covers lately... So just before I finished abusing the editor up, I asked her when is she going to put MAddy on the cover? She replied: "We'll think about it, so keep your eyes open."
And what do you know? Six months later, I walk into the newsagency, and WHOALA!!!!!! Madonna is on the cover of September COSMOPOLITAN!!! OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!! It worked...... They actually listened to me.... So as you can see Maddy is on the very gorgeous Australian COSMOPOLITAN cover, all super glossy and beautiful....
Unfortunately, the feature inside is what was featured inside 'THE FACE', yet the photots inside Cosmo are a bit different... Yet very nicely done.... So as you can see, it pays to state your opinion... And besides, the editor wasn't such a bitch after all.... I'll call her later to thank her on behalf of the Madonna clan around the world!!!! ".

Cheers to for the following information on the Singapore release of Music: "Apparently Warner Singapore were to only import their CD singles for the Music release, both CD 1 & 2 from Australia.". But it's now apparent that they have at last issued a CD single which carries same tracks as the Aussy CD1. There are other Singapore imports being sold right by dealers, but remember, these are actually Australian imports. Cheers Daniel for the info...

Romania (Cheers Cat) has an imported German 4 track jewel cased CD release; this comes with "UFPR" hologram sticker (the Romanian IFPI), and also has access to the two UK jewel cased CDs as well... Italy will also have the German, and possibly all the UK releases of Music as well. France has access to the Greman imported card sleeve CD single, so don't get fooled into buying the Franch and german versions! Funnily enough some dealers are also selling Swedish CD singles, which are totally German, imported into sweden! Finally Czechoslovakia also has access to the 4 track German imported jewel cased CD single.

The German picture disc appears to include sticker only in the top corner, while the UK's picture disc has the sticker slap bang in the centre! The UK has NO 7" commercial pressing but does have a juke box promo with 'LC' catalogue number prefix!

CANADIAN LTD CD ALBUM: Canada is set to have it's own Canadian made LTD CD album. It will have USA packaging BUT Canadian disc!!! I will have these so please reserve asap! Likewise, Canada has imported the German maxi CD single in jewel casing as one of it's CD pressings!! (Cheers Rob!!).

As Lisa (LISAALICE44) has just pointed out, the Aussy CD single with screen saver has it's 'Bonus Beats' mis-spelt as "BUNUS BEATS". I mean, really... Can't Mavenich, opps, Maverick even spell the word BONUS.

Also, there are some pressings stating 'Groove Armada BA' remix (UK for example) and others stating 'Groove Armada GA' remix (Aussy CD1), yet both are same???

Likewise, cheers Dimi, long time friend and collector/DJ from Germany, pointed out that, and I quote: "The double USA promo (PRO A100304) 's 'Groove Armada 12" Revival' is the same as the 'Groove Arm 12" Mix' and the 'G.A.Flagship Dub' is the same as the ;Groove Arm.Club Mix' which is really DISSAPPOINTING as there are no new mixes".

This is a rare gold CD reference for an EP with 4 songs from the first album "Madonna" just simply called "4 songs". It includes 1. Lucky Star (5:48 mix, this has never been available on any other release, promo or commercial) 2. Borderline (album version) 3. Burning Up (here I'm Burnin' Up, 5:55 remix) and 4. I Know It (album version). Total running time for this CD is 20:50. The front insert is dated May 15th, 1995. BIGGER IMAGE

Well both UK 12" pressings have just one disc, so NO double disc release in the end?? Not sure why this changed. Germany was set to have a third CD single, the second jewel cased release but now this thrid CD has been canceled, they may get one of the UK's CD singles instead?

The UK's Heat mag today has shown exclusive shots of Madonna and the new child...No cover but some great shots inside and a story about husband Guy Ritchie... I have these if anyone wants a copy... £2.

Malaysia has finally released their Music CD single (936 244898 2), Issued 30th August with the following tracks:

Some info on this release:
The cover is the cowgirl profile picture (the standard picture) with the "Madonna Music" logo on the bottom right hand corner. Under "Music" are the words Maverick/Warner Bros. 936 244898 2.On the upper right hand corner is our local "RIM" sticker with its serial number. RIM is our local charts and the sticker means that it's an original CD (as there are many pirated CDs masquarading as originals in this region) and that the sale of the CD would go towards the single's local chart placing.
The inner sleeve has the "M" designe with the rhinestone patterns and on the back portion of the sleeve, it states that the CD is manufactured and marketed by Warner Music (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.
The CD itself has a pink background with the white horseshoe and a four-leaf clover. And the "M" logo in silver inbetween the open part of the horseshoe. The tracklisting is listed on the outer edge of the CD all along the edge. The final words are "Made in Malaysia" followed by the Maverick logo then the "WB" logo. The CD is released in a jewel casing.

Ive just seen this totally cool and certainly rare Music promotional Cow Girl hat! This is pink and comes with promotional Music logo. Looks kind of cheap though, but I would not say no to having one!. There are also Music sunglasses in circulation; these come with 'Music' on one lense and I think an 'M' on the other lense!. There is also a T shirt issued to promote the Music release.

THIS IS JUST A PERSONAL THOUGHT!

If like me you ever recieve email about, for example "'Music' full album promo CD-R acetate", and a list of rather expensive trade items, beware, always ask first, if this is OPFFICIAL, and make sure that you are not about to trade your favourite items for nothing more than a cheap CDR bootleg. There are many bootleg CDRs out there right now so beware!!!

Well there is definately going to be a LTD CD album release for MUSIC... BUT is this UK/Euro or USA??, No one actually seems to know, some stores are saying USA while others are saying British?? There are also rumours that this LTD CD will come in four different colours?? Below is info that I have recieved regardiing this release.... Feel free to add yours by email.

Here is a look at the USA 'Security Service' 'CD Clone' CDR promo CD released in USA. It's a one mix CDR but rather nice all the same. Comes in traditional insert sleeve, although the typeface is a little strange for warners?? Disc is equally traditional with it's black text on white graphics. Comes with just one mix, MUSIC 3:45. I have just got fresh Music release news from 'Daniel' in Malaysia, cheers for this information:
"The release date for Music the album is definitely slated for 19th Sept 2000 in Malaysia. As for the CD single, apparently Warner and Tower Records are discussing whether a local CD single will be released or whether Tower would just import them. No single is expected until late this month (a week after the official release date) or else early September.". Lkewise, no news of a release from Singapore yet!!

I was about to get very excited, as I just saw a rather nice item advertised but then realised it was a bootleg. It's a cube shaped silk screen printed box, will contain printed t-shirt, two skin transfers, car sticker and individually numbered certificate, limited to just 1000 copies, but no CD is included!. Well there are three CD singles coming out between 22nd August and August 29th, including two maxi CDs and a CD single, although the additional maxi looks set to be similar to the European CD single and not too unique. This is rare for two maxis to appear in Canada!!! The album is due out in September, on 19th...

From the email I've been recieving, and it's a lot right now, the general consences (spelt right??) is that the DVD release is set to be scarce. The Australian and UK DVD release is limited and many stores may not have too many copies to go around. The Japanese release will probably be available worldwide. There is set to be a German DVD which is more than likely to be same as the UK one. I look forward to getting the Canadian version, hopefully It's different to the USA release.

The UK limited edition: "Music,Limited Edition Hand Bound Book Style Package Covered InLinen Fabric With Embossed Writing & Buckle. Includes 24Page Full Colour Bookle" is set to become the most wanted item from this release, initially anyway! These are possibly limited to just 20,000 so will be expensive to acquire after initial supplies have gone. Well I have just recieved information and scans of these totaly cool CDRs, issued by WEA here in UK for Music. The first CDR contains 'Music 3:44', while the second contains a 'Music Teaser 0:25 sec'. Both have special white 'WEA' logo inser sleeves and have totally white discs, these are also WEA logo embossed. These give reference to 'Hamburg' in Germany so these were manufactured in Germany and shipped here to the UK. BIGGER IMAGE HERE

I have never seen 'Safetycopy' CDR promotional pressings before and I'm sure these are rare. If anyone wants to make an offer on these please email me and Ill pass on your offer to the sellers, who are totally trustworthy!!!

Well the bonus track called "Cyderraga" that is planned for the Aussy and Japanese albums may appear on the UK/Euro album also. This is a rumour only but lets hope it's true!!

The USA has just released a vinyl promo 12". This includes just the 'Album Version 3:44' on both side 1 and side 2 and fantastic custom stickered sleeve, (PRO- A-100903). I have also seen the USA promo CD but does look exactly the same as the UK/Euro promo?

Thailand started airplay of MUSIC on August 2nd and I would expect a single from there very soon.

Australia has just produced a two mix video with '4:26' and '4:44' versions. Its dated 21/07/2000 and is PAL version!. Mexico has also just produced a 1 mix promo CD, looks similar to the UK/Euro version.
