YOU'LL SEE
I first heard this track while on an old school bus travelling through Honduras, I heard words in Spanish which sounded so much like Madonna, but down there many bands copy well known singers, singing only in Spanish, well, this was Madonna and she sung in Spanish.
Once again no 7" was pressed, but a juke box single was (W0324). A cassette single (W0324C) was also released along with three CD single variations. The regular CD (W0324CD) carrying a purple disc was backed up by what I think is one of the best limited editions around, a real foxy item which includes a Free 1996 Calendar (W0324CDX), simply slipped into the front of it's jewel casing, and as another bonus it's disc was gold coloured. The final CD was a card sleeve issue (43623-9) sold here at the regular price; this one appears to be either German or French. The sleeve carries a large pink title sticker and was found at HMV.
OH FATHER
Finally issued here in the UK and in just two formats, must be the sadist attempt at marketing by 'WEA' ever. If you desire 7"s, then get a grasp of the juke box pressing (W0326), which I think may even include some kind of paper label?, otherwise a cassette single (W0326C) was issued. The regular CD (W0326CD), with white disc was also released with a black disc which came in 'gate-fold' sleeve. Another CD single appeared, this one included Four Limited Edition Postcards (W0326CDX) slipped into the cover slot and is still available for as little as £10, the case for most ltds issued after 1994. All pressings came with unique picture sleeve and not the sleeve used in America.
ONE MORE CHANCE
A similar situation to the above single, with no commercial vinyl release, and the only vinyl coming in the form of a juke box 7" (W0337). The other choice of collectables would be left to either the cassette single (W0337C) or one of three CD single variations. The first CD, the regular (W0337CD), came with a pink disk whilst the second, a gate-fold Top-Up came with a darker shade of pink. The third CD was a limited edition Poster Sleeve issue which came with a with pink and silver disc design and originally came factory sealed, and still sells for as little as £5. Most CD releases from 'Take A Bow' onwards came with a promotional counterpart with either 'DJ' or 'DJ2' prefix, these are easily found and offer some scarce remixes as well as one-off sleeve and disc designs
YOU MUST LOVE ME
The first track from the album 'Evita', and what a wonderful song. Unfortunately the releases for this track were totally naff, no vinyl and no limited edition, just a couple of cassette single variations (W0378C), one with a black plastic body, the other with a clear body, and a rather straight forward CD single (W0378CD).
DON'T CRY FOR ME ARGENTINA
Just a cassette single (W0384C) and two compact discs to collect. The regular CD (W0384CD) with black disc was coupled by a limited edition (W0384CD2) containing "The Dance Remixes", three 'Miami' stylies and the poxy album version (the disc was a cool shade of yellow though).
ANOTHER SUITCASE IN ANOTHER HALL
As with the last single just three pressings surfaced. An obligatory cassette single (W0388C) and two CD singles, a solely gate-fold copy (W0388CD) (but not a Top-Up) and a limited edition pressing with 3 Film Postcards (W0388CDX) which were slipped into the case cover. The ltd CD came in an album style casing which was totally clear and once the disc is removed you are able to see through the back casing at a great film picture printed on the reverse of the back sleeve.
FROZEN
'Frozen' was the debut single from the brilliant album 'Ray Of Light' yet only three pressings seemed to appear, a cassette single (W0433C), CD single (W0433CD) and a fairly limited 12" (W0433T).
RAY OF LIGHT
'Ray Of Light' produced three initial pressings, cassette single (W0444C), CD single (W0444CD) and fairly limited 12" (W04444T), although a second CD was issued shortly afterwards and offered four more fantastic remixes and a slightly different sleeve design.
