THE DAY THAT MUSIC WAS RELEASED
MUSIC ALBUM RELEASE DAY IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA by Cat from Romania
The album was released on 18th September, and in the first day was only available in Prague's biggest music store, "BONTON LAND MEGASTORE". They dedicated three weeks to Madonna, in the meantime, whoever buys anything by Madonna gets to enter a competition to win Madonna promotional stuff ("Music" sunglasses, "Music" DVDs-which were not on sale in Czech Rep-, "Music" pink t-shirts and "Music" ltd edition albums).
Also, in the same day, girls dressed in blue jeans and wearing the pink promotional cowboy hat were distributing the flyers (pictured on the right) in the area where the store is located. There was also a special offer: "the first 500 buyers of the album got also, for free, a copy of the german 'Music' maxi-single". It became a big seller within the first hour of the morning and the staff had to order more copies from Warner Czech Republic.
There was no release party for the album.

MUSIC ALBUM RELEASE DAY IN CANADA
First of all cheers Rob for the mini licence plate you sent me and that cool flyer also (featured on the right).
I have the flyer pictured on the right, titled "MONDAY @ MIDNIGHT", these were given out for the 'HMV 333 YONGE' store in Canada. The flyer states that all pre-orders for the album get a free "Madonna Collector Mini License Plate". This is also featured on the right and are a rather cute plastic plate, about the height of a CD album and about 3" high.
The store was open at midnight on the 19th and this flyer actually states that the offer was to end at 12:30 am, so was not ran for too long!

FLORIDA - MIAMI BEACH (USA)
This is a flyer that was given out in Miami Beach's Washington Avenue area, for a club called "level". (I just love this part of America, can't beat South Beach for nightlife!)
GERMANY'S 'ALL ABOUT MUSIC ALBUM RELEASE PARTY' IN STUTTGART

Saturday 21st September saw Germany's Madonna Music album release party. This was held at Stuttgart's 'Charlottenolatz' and a over 1100 Madonna fans turned up from Germany, Switzerland and other European countries.
The event started at 10:30 pm and went on umtil 8:30 in the morning! We had a Movie lounge for 150 seats... selling pop corn, also selling of all new Music Items on Vinyl and CD
Night also included ...Gogo dancers ...Video/Dia Animations, Drag Queens, Madonna Lookalikes, was the most succesful of all my Madonna Events.

Only dissappointing thing was THAT THE PEOPLE STOLE THE COMPLETE DECORATION DURING THE NIGHT-THIS WAS VERY CHEAP!!!
